In its 47th year, the Sion Tibor Varga Music Academy offers a varied and attractive programme for 2009 with no less than 33 masterclasses by famous masters. Among the new teachers will be  Konstantin Scherbakov, Philippe Cassard (piano) or Alessandro Carbonare (clarinet).who will teach for the first time in Sion.

Apart from the regular masterclasses, 4 “Special Young Musicians" courses will be held for musicians up to 20 years old :  violin , piano,cello and orchestra the Campus Musicus,
