A student
of Hans Richter-Haaser, Alfred Cortot and Wilhelm Kempff,
he won the 1st prize at the Munich International
Competition in 1959. Many tours have taken him to Japan, North and
South America, Asia, Africa and most European cities. Professeur at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold
(1958-1997), he now regularly gives masterclasses.
